National Notary Association - Raymond C. Rothman Endowed Scholarship

With preference to entering in-state freshmen with strong leadership records in high school and/or their communities, who graduated high school with a 3.5 GPA or better (weighted or unweighted), and who are California residents and US citizens with demonstrated financial need, the National Notary Association – Raymond C. Rothman Endowed Scholarship, was established for full-time UCLA College undergraduates in 1997. The scholarship will provide funding toward registration fees and educational materials.

The following criteria will be used to award the scholarship:

  • The consideration of academic merit and demonstrated financial need via the FAFSA will be the criteria in selecting the recipients.
  • Preference will be given to students whose grade point average is representative of 3.5 or above.
  • Preference will be given to United States citizens who are California residents.
  • Consideration will be given to the student’s initiative, diversity of extra curricular activities and high school or community leadership record and potential.
